This is a test

I kicked Monahans butt at cribbage.

This is my first time at a Mac, and it's pretty nice. Windows may go bye bye next time we buy a computer.

Speed Riding on skis. This is what I want to do.

Stayed up all night working on a journal paper and finally got in a form I'm happy with (for now). Speedriding is what I feel like doing now. Video (37Mb) might take a while on DSL to load up, but it's worth it. Try this smaller video (6Mb) if all else fails. I'm planning a vacation to France now. Thanks again to Rocketboom for the inspiration.

Update on Keeper. I ran into him the other day while biking in to work. He was all spiffed up in nice shoes, shirt, and tie. He stuck with a 44 day Fatherhood program and showed up at a temporoary welding job every day. He was on his way to sign a contract for a SALARY! Man, he was so pumped to have guaranteed employement and at something he enjoyed (welding). The time we spent putting together his resume and giving it to people finally paid off. He still has tons of issues, but he's definitely starting to make use of what measure of skills and talents he has. He's been reading the Bible and has lots of good questions whenever I see him.
