Tomorrow I head to Orlando to present a paper I submitted to the SMTAI 2007 conference as part of my PhD work. I really enjoy these technical conferences for their networking purposes. I remember my first conference 4 years ago and being giddy at meeting many of the 'experts' and big names in my field. Now I'm excited to be considered a peer and worthy of having discussions with. It's nice to see my work used as a reference in other technical papers. Anyways, here's to presenting my last work as a graduate student! In some ways it makes me sad, but already I've seen where my professional career is going to be very rewarding and full of surprises. For example, did I mention I may be headed to Austria for a week before the end of the year?
Pray for Lynn as she will have some sicko boys to deal with while I'm gone for two days.

Hey Lynn,
Thanks for sharing. I completely understand as I use to have a dream of being a farmer. A word of encouragement . . . Now I am one in ways I never expected. Just today I met some new people and they asked "What do you do?" With a grin that sprung deep from within my soul I said, "I am farmer." I hope it never gets old saying that!
