Advent Candles
We have a family Advent liturgy into Christmas Day to remind us that we are looking forward to Christ's return. The boys have a great time getting a chance to light the candles. We stress the point to them that we look forward to Christ's return just as much as we look forward to opening presents. I think that analogy relates pretty well for toddler boys.

I think it's good for toddler boys, and good for adults to remember too. He said to have faith like little children...so we can remember and be reminded of the no-holds-barred excitement, glee, and anticipation baby children have. Also there's the reminder that they love and trust you, their parents, to give them good gifts! So we should love and trust our Father to give us good gifts that are worth getting excited about!!
