Red Paper Clip Leading to a House

Sometimes I have a few minutes of spare time between simulations and I check out Rocketboom for an amazing array of news and stuff. These two items came from a recent show.

--A man starts with a red paper clip and eventually trades up to van. He is going to keep trading until he gets a house. I think he is currently trading for a record deal.

--The Marimba Ponies. Some very talented 4 to 12 year olds. These kids are serious about the Marimbas. Check out the little guy playing.

--RC Steam Engine Robots.

The red paper clip story is similar to a youth group "game" that I participated in as a paid chaperone at Peach Tree City Pres. It's called Bigger or Better. Two teams start off with something small like a paper clip or toothpick and go around town trying to trade up for something bigger or better. After X amount of hours, the teams went back to the church with their final something. Usually it ended up being furniture for their youth room. The team I was on almost got a golf cart. We ended up with a couch.
