I think it's looking great, Andy! I'm so proud of you! It's esp. difficult to work on an older home like yours with uneven surfaces to deal with, old plumbing, etc. Well done! Be not weary in well doing, it looks like you're coming down the home stretch.

Looks good. What are you using for the base? Are you leaving the bathtub in and just building the shower up around it?

Ooooooh Andy! How awesome! Have you all gotten clean at all sice you began this venture? If not, I bet you're all smelling a bit ripe by now!

You're not kidding Katie. I'm not a frequent bather anyways, but I got really really ripe. I wore the same clothes 3 days in a row while tiling. The clothes are covered in cement and are now in the trash. I took my first bath in 4-5 days? Can't shower yet because I still need to grout. Close, so close...

Looks so nice, Andy! I really like the staggered joints in the tile and especially the block. I never would have thoght to to that with the stuff. From an engineering standpoint, that would actually make it stronger, no?

Its hard to see the true colors with the lighting, I'd love to see it "in person." Maybe one of these days we'll get down there?

Bill Turner gets most of the creidt for the layout. The staggered brick pattern was his idea. I'll post better pictures with 'before' and 'after' later.

For the record I have to say the boys and I were in Chattavegas with access to cleaning facilities for over eight days of this (and relief from the smell of Andy). Thanks Mom and Dad!!!
